A cocktail of fermented sake extract, kombucha and hops ‘feeds’ your cells with restorative nutrients, while coconut water and sodium PCA – both powerful electrolytes – deliver hydration and help to deflect the aggressors – or so-called ‘biome bullies’ – think: blue light, UV-generated free radicals and elemental irritants. Natural minerals – zinc, copper and calcium – then help to lessen redness and encourage the manufacture of the collagen responsible for keeping skin resilient and ‘springy’, while ceramides, vitamin F and essential amino acids promote softness and suppleness. There’s also lactic acid on the list but this is not for its exfoliating properties; instead, it is used to attract precious moisture because of its pH and natural water-attracting abilities.
